Which documents you have to submit in order to get a Ukrainian immigration permit

Immigration to Ukraine is a responsible step and our country always welcomes those who want to become its citizens. If you are a foreigner or an individual with no citizenship, in order to successfully immigrate to Ukraine, according to appropriate laws (The law of Ukraine “On immigration”, “On Ukrainian citizenship”), you must submit the following documents:

  • Copy of an ID;
  • A document which contains residence data;
  • A document which lists members of immigrant’s family, marriage certificate (if available);
  • Health certificate, which states that you do not suffer from chronic alcoholism, toxicomany, not addicted to drugs and are not infected by dangerous infections (document is not required if you have been married with Ukrainian citizen for more than two years, if you are a child or a parent of Ukrainian citizen, or have a right to immigrate based on regional origination);
  • If necessary – consular or state fee payment confirmation, or a document which confirms benefits and exempt of charges;
  • If you constantly live abroad – copy of criminal record (document is not required if you have been married with Ukrainian citizen for more than two years, if you are a child or a parent of Ukrainian citizen, or have a right to immigrate based on regional origination);
  • Documents, which confirm belonging to certain quota category or can provide immigration purpose not based on quota;
  • Three 3,5x4,5 photographs.
