Міська влада визначила структуру нового, 2023/2024, навчального року

Навчання у школах Києва триватиме з 1 вересня до 31 травня, а компенсаторні заняття та атестація – до 28 червня 2024 року. 

Формат, у якому працюватиме школа, кожен заклад освіти обиратиме самостійно. Рішення про запровадження очного, дистанційного або змішаного форматів навчання прийматиметься на засіданнях педагогічних рад з урахуванням безпекових норм і побажань батьків учнів.

Як зазначив мер Києва Віталій Кличко, цьогоріч у столичні школи підуть майже 25 тисяч першокласників, що близько до показників довоєнних років.

Соціальний захист: Київ продовжує допомагати незахищеним верствам населення

Так, із міського бюджету за програмою «Турбота. Назустріч киянам» виплатять 130 млн грн одноразової матеріальної допомоги соціально-незахищеним киянам. Зокрема внутрішнім переселенцям, які наразі проживають у столиці. 

Також дітям загиблих Захисників Київ щомісяця виплачує по 14 165 грн. Адресну матеріальну допомогу на загальну суму більше 45 млн грн у 2023-му вже отримали понад 500 дітей киян-Захисників, які загинули під час російсько-української війни. Також по 30 тисяч грн щорічно Київ виплачує членам сімей Захисників та Захисниць, які загинули внаслідок поранень під час російсько-української війни. У 2023 році таку допомогу від міста вже отримали близько 1 800 членів сімей на загальну суму понад 53 млн грн.

Окрім того, цьогоріч столиця підтримала виплатами понад 31 тисячу киян-учасників АТО і Захисників з інвалідністю I та II групи на загальну суму 175 млн грн.

Kyiv City Council sets the 2023-2024 school year calendar

Classes in Kyiv schools will run from September 1 to May 31. Make-up classes and attestations will go until June 28, 2024. 

Each school will decide for itself which format it will work in. The decision to hold in-person, remote, and mixed-format education will be made by teacher councils, taking into account safety standards and the wishes of students' parents.

As Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko noted, this year, nearly 25,000 first graders will go to schools in the capital, which is close to figures from before the full-scale invasion.

Social welfare: Kyiv continues to assist vulnerable segments of the population

Through the Care. Coming to Kyivans program, 130 million UAH from the city budget will be paid out as one-time material assistance to socially disadvantaged Kyivans and, in particular, to internally displaced persons currently residing in the capital. 

In addition, Kyiv will make monthly payments of 14,165 UAH to the children of fallen defenders. Over 500 children of defenders from Kyiv who died during russia's war against Ukraine have received targeted financial assistance totaling over 45 million UAH in 2023. Kyiv is also making payments of 30,000 UAH annually to the family members of warriors who died as a result of their wounds from the war. So far, to date in 2023, approximately 1,800 family members have received this assistance from the city. A total of 53 million UAH has been paid out so far this year.

In addition to that, this year, the capital has offered support through payments of over 31,000 UAH to members of the Anti-Terrorist Operation from Kyiv and defenders with Group 1 or 2 disabilities worth a total of 175 million UAH.

Donate Your Time is a call to become part of positive changes in the city. This section was created to remind people that time is a tool for chance and an opportunity to bring victory closer by joining together to do good.

The Kyiv Digital app's Help section has the "Become a volunteer" option, where Kyivans can select projects and focus areas that interest them. Users can select charitable fields, join various initiatives, and take part in joint projects to bring about change for the better.
